But...there hasn't been a NEW Zelda game since I dunno. Ocarina of Time. Really. If you tell me slapping a werewolf gimmick into a same old , same old is NEW, I ain't arguing with you. But you know that some innovation is needed. Badly.

like I said before, I would absolutely love a new Zelda for the Wii, but as long as they announce some games for the Hardcore, i'll be pleased.
otherwise, it'll be like last year's horrid showing
Innovation is kinda overrated, a game doesn't need too many new ideas to be great, there's nothing wrong with taking tried and proven formulas and executing them well. don't get me wrong, innovation plays a key part in gaming, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

God of War 1-2 is a good example of that.

Another example is Street Fighter 3, They kicked out all but two charactors from the SF2 roster and it almost killed the franchise, or when they first attempted 3D for the first time, *shivers*. It took for them to go back to basics with a fresh look and a simplified parry system to get the franchise back to it's former glory.
Developers need to remember to keep the elements that make the franchise so much fun and not go overboard with the new features, when Infinity Ward moved CoD to modern times they kept the feel and mechanics of the game the same so when you picked up the game you knew you were playing a CoD game.

- Who will embarass themselves this time.
- Info / footage for Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, The Conduit, Sin & Punishment 2, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
- Capcom's mystery game that they're going to announce (crossing fingers for Devil May Cry 5).
- New Nintendo titles.
And I'm hoping we finally get something on Half-Life 2: Episode Three, but I'm kind of not expecting it.

Unfortunately, I ain't really looking forward for this event. All the games I want are already coming out or have yet to be announced. Or...be actually made?

-Gran Turismo announced for PSP Could see that happening
-Sony announces the PS3 Slim, but doesn't announce the price Maybe, but I dont think we'll see that or a price cut
-Microsoft announces a Home-like virtual space that can be explored by Avatars
-Square Enix announces a Final Fantasy VII remake for PS3/360/Wii/DS/PSP No way this happens, and if it did, only PS3 and 360 would make sense
-Price cut on the original PlayStation 3 See Above, It will come, just not at E3
-Konami announces Zoe of the Enders 3 Kojima's next game looks like it'll be another Metal Gear, though with him you can never really know.
-Square Enix gives Final Fantasy XIII a more clear release date for the West than "2010." (Japanese Audio Track please!) SE said they wouldnt be able to put on Japanese Voice Tracks on the 360, and it may not be on PS3 either since they dont know if enough people want the option, which is complete BS because they know we do.
-Half-Life 2: Episode Three unveiled for PC and Xbox Live Arcade
-Nintendo's Cammie Dunaway tells us a heartwarming story about her kids (I'm voting on this one!) Lock of the Century, it WILL happen

If you're talking about it in terms of innovation...
You forgot Phantom Hourglass on the DS!
It would be great to see that new Zelda game they've been making, but I think it's 50/50 we'll see it. It's been a little while since we saw Nintendo really roll out the big guns. However, they've been favouring gimmicks/minigames at their big press conferences. How many times have we expected to see some awesome games, only to come away disappointed?
Of course, I'm sure they'll show the new Zelda game on the DS/DSi.
I'm really looking forward to E3, hopefully there'll be some cool things in the pipeline for gamers.
