It doesn't mean he couldn't have gotten assistance in some details since he also has the manga to worry about.
The fact remains that in this latest chapter he clearly wanted to retcon the ages of some of the characters. In the end they're small changes that don't really affect the manga.
The only inconsistencies are the Hokage mountain (which was probably an honest mistake) and the Tobi timeline (which will probably be explained in the following chapters).

Just got back from the dealers rooms (3 huge ones at Dragon Con) no new Naruto related stuff I saw, but I'm seriously considering buying a kit model of the handgun used in the Yamato series... heh. I brought my Naruto and Sakura ABJ dolls, my Gambit and Rogue ABJ dolls, and my in progress Spock and Saavik ABJ's.
Hoping I can get into Gillian Anderson's 7PM panel tonight, so a quick meal of a large instant ramen (heh) then off to get into line.

Any Blade Runner cosplays?
Back to the topic i think Orochimaru will play some role in Obito's "fix". Probably around the same time Orochi joined Akatsuki, given his current relevance back into the manga.

This makes so much sense that I hope it's accurate. Especially since Kakashi needed a whole lot of protecting when he was growing up.
It doesn't really give Obito a legitimate reason to turn to the dark side, but maybe it planted a seed that grew into something much bigger.

Obito turned bad because he was friendzone. Goes to show you ladies, friendzone the nice guy and they turn into overpowered nutjubs. The only exception is Jiraiya but he was getting girls on the side so it's ok. So Sakura, you better get with Naruto or the Alliance is going to get a bunch of Rasengans up their asses. xD

If anything, it could be a mistake or it can be explained in the later chapters. That said nothing has changed and that's the important part. It's not like Obito's personality changed. It goes to show you that as long as character remain the same as before, it's all good. That's like Naruto realizing Hinata at age 8 and talk to her. That's a screwup. Nothing has changed, rather, we went in depth to Obito's character. If you really worry for Naruto's sudden change of heart, don't be ridiculous. Imagine him saying I don't want to be Hokage anymore.

I know. I'm saying that if people thinks no pairing will come true, think again. I do believe romance will happen towards the end. Naruto won't confess to Sakura until everything is over, but I do believe that they will have a tender moment. Much like calm before storm.
